Requiring help in your home
can be a daunting experience and a decision
which will probably be agonized over for
a long time. We hope we will be able to
make the experience as easy as possible.
We pride ourselves on being a friendly team
and would like to assure you that we do
not want to "take over" but merely
support you enough to remain in your home.
Good service is your right and we look forward
to a happy association for as long or as
short a time as is necessary.
Once we have received your
initial enquiry we will arrange for our
Home Care Services Manager to visit you
at home or wherever you are at that time
to discuss YOUR requirements and offer her
advice. It is quite often a good idea to
have another member of your family or a
close friend with you for that appointment
- two heads are often better than one!
With your permission, our
Home Care Services Manager will carry out
a Care Needs Assessment and either at that
visit or a later one she will need to carry
out other assessments as well. This provides
us with the information we need to decide
with you how we can offer help and will
also form the basis of your personal Care
Plan.
Because everyone's needs
change all the time we will make regular
reviews and agree changes with you where
appropriate. Your Care Plan is entirely
flexible and can be made smaller or added
to at any time.
If you decide to use our
services you will be provided with a copy
of our Service User Guide which will give
you further information about us. We would
like you to feel able to discuss any aspect
of your care with us at any time.
