Explanation
of Terms
LIVE-IN
CARE is the support and supervision
of a person(s) whose actions, if left alone
for long periods, could prove a risk to
themselves or others. Live-in care does
not include regular help at night. Additional
working night care may be introduced by
agreement if the person(s) requires regular
help at night. Live-in Support Workers are
entitled to a minimum of fourteen hours
off a week. Additional hourly care may be
introduced by agreement to cover the live-in
Support Workers time off if the person(s)
cannot be left alone during the day. Additional
hourly care may be introduced by agreement
to assist the live-in Support Worker with
shopping or other external visits if the
person(s) cannot be left alone during the
day.
SLEEP-IN
NIGHT CARE is the support of a person(s)
who occasionally needs some assistance during
the night but is generally self-caring.
Sleep-in night care may be altered to working
night care by agreement if the person(s)
develops a need for regular help at night.
WORKING
NIGHT CARE is the support of a person(s)
who regularly need help during the night.
HOURLY
CARE is the support of a person(s)
who can be left alone for long periods without
risk to themselves or others.

will presume that any agreement made is
acceptable to all family members and significant
others unless otherwise informed.
Stockwell Care Services Limited
cannot be held liable if information provided
by the client or the client's representative
is inaccurate or incomplete.
Stockwell Care Services Limited
reserves the right to refuse or withdraw
care if information provided by the client
or client's representative is found to be
inaccurate or incomplete.
Due to the unpredictable
nature of some of the work undertaken by
Stockwell Care Services Limited there may
be instances when agreed care will need
to be altered at short notice. Whenever
possible prior agreement will be obtained
to any alterations.
